The Academic College was established to address the dire training need within the Hospitality Industry; to provide a competent and skilled workforce. Our qualifications are split between classroom theory & practical work experience.

A large number of learners who have successfully completed their studies, are currently employed by the Premier Hotels & Resorts group.

About Cathsseta:

• CATHSSETA is the Sectoral Education and Training Authority (SETA) established for the Culture, Arts, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport sector.
• A SETA's main function is to contribute to the raising of skills within that sector. This is done by ensuring that people learn skills that are needed by employers and communities. Training and skills development is not just for young people starting their first jobs or the unemployed. The skills of people already in jobs must also be enhanced.
